DL Jordan Davis – Georgia, 4JR

When the 2021 season begins, I would expect for Louisville to feel the significant loss of Jared Goldwire early on. Dezmond Tell is the likely starter as a second year player in the program. ‘

This is where 6’6″ 330-pound Jordan Davis comes in. Davis is a guy that will eat up space and double teams efficiently to give other pass rushers and run defenders the ability to obtain one-on-ones and make their lives easier.

Despite the shear size of Davis, he still offers the ability to rush the passer from the interior. That is something that Goldwire showed flashes of, but was never able to consistently fulfill that kind of role for the Cardinals. Davis can.

Similar to Olave, Davis returned the school despite the fact he could have been an early round NFL draft selection. So this would be another one-year rental for Louisville if they are interested in his services.
