Buffalo Bills

How about this fit for Hawkins?

He gets an opportunity to go and play with one of the best quarterbacks in football in 2020 and a championship-caliber team. The Bills mix in a lot of gap and zone blocking which would give Hawkins the opportunity to play versatile. Even though outside zone running is his strength, and what he’s used to, many teams are still willing to mix gap and zone run plays.

The Bills’ top two running backs, Devin Singletary and Zack Moss, don’t possess any of what Hawkins has which is incredible acceleration and speed. There’s plenty of reason to believe that the Bills want to keep building on an already great offense with even more of an injection of speed.

In 2020, the Bills didn’t have one ball carrier rush for over 800 yards. There seems to be a potential “in” for Hawkins in this offense if they choose to select a running back on day three.
