It’s the most wonderful time, of the year!

College football bowl season is finally upon college football fans, and everyone wants to know where their team will be flying the colors one final time. The Louisville Cardinals (6-6) are set to take on the Air Force Falcons (9-3) in the SERVPRO First Responder Bowl on Dec. 28th, 2021.

In the Cards most recent outing they were trampled by Kentucky 52-21 in their final game of the regular season. The game was indicative of what was truly a roller coaster season for a fan base that has been starving to see their team get back to the post-season. This comes after watching quarterbacks such as Teddy Bridgewater, and most notably Lamar Jackson, keep the Cards in line for a postseason birth year in and year out under their respective tutelage.

Malik Cunningham leads an explosive Cardinals offense. I fully expect them to have success against a Falcons defense that has been susceptible to giving up chunk plays to teams that are able to “air it out” a smidgen.

The defense will be tasked with keeping that traditional service academy option attack in check. It will be key for the lineman and linebackers to stay disciplined, while taking care of who they are responsible for in the option run game.

The game will be played in the Dallas, Texas area. It will be broadcast on ESPN and kickoff is scheduled for 3:15 p.m.
