The Louisville basketball program has gone full throttle in it’s efforts to continuously thrust itself back into the national spotlight. The hiring of former Cardinal great, Kenny Payne, was just the tip of the proverbial iceberg. Getting the talent back into the Yum! Center is a key aspect of that process.

Tennessee freshman center transfer Brandon Huntley-Hatfield will join the Louisville Cardinals for his upcoming sophomore season. This was a key addition for the team considering there were a number of instances during this past season in which the Cards were pounded on the offensive boards. Huntley-Hatfield should bring some bring some much needed skill and toughness to the center position. The freshmen started 13 games last year for the Vols and contributed in a major way.

Brandon Huntley-Hatfield was a 5-star prospect out of Clarksville, TN when he chose the University of Tennessee. There were a number of big men on that roster that limited his amount of overall playing time. Hopefully he can find his footing on a revamped Louisville roster next season. Welcome to the Ville Brandon!
