Four-star Defensive Back Braylon Conley was recently offered a scholarship from the University of Louisville. The 2024 prospect has not committed to a collegiate program but now Louisville is on his board forcing him to think about whether Flyville will be his collegiate destination.

Conley is rated as a four-star defensive back according to Rivals and a three-star defensive back according to 247 Sports. The Humble, Texas product is projected to stay in the Lone Star state for his post-high school career. Rivals has the Texas Tech Raiders as his primary target, meanwhile On3 has the Longhorns as his projected landing spot.

But being a junior leaves a lot of time to make a decision. And if Louisville learned anything from the path of Rueben Owens, his path to Flyville went through a decommitment to the Longhorns, ultimately finding home in Louisville, KY. Owens is the number one running back in the nation for the Class of 2023, so he set a precedent in forsaking the Lone Star state for the home of the Bluegrass.

Conley could have the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of former Louisville standout cornerback Jaire Alexander, who now plays on Sundays and has locked up the CB1 role with the Packers when healthy. Also, 2023 commit Aaron Williams is headed to The Ville from St. John Bosco in Bellflower, California.

The majority of players who have committed to the Cardinals live out west. But they fall in love with the city, the culture, and the pride of donning the red and white. Conley still has plenty of time to decide which helmet he wants to wear. But the line of communication to Louisville is now open.

Following Louisville‘s offer towards the beginning of the month, Conley received offers from TCU, Utah, Houston, and Texas. He is attracting eyes from top-tier programs and it will be exciting to see where he decides to go in the future.
