Five-star small forward Carter Bryant is set to visit Louisville tomorrow.

Bryant was unable to make it to Louisville Live on October 21, 2022 due to unknown reasons. But he is on his way to The Ville this weekend.

According to 247 Sports, Arizona is the highest team on Bryant’s list but Louisville is right underneath the Wildcats. According to On3.com, Louisville is the overwhelming favorite to land the five-star prospect. The battle is on between Coach Kenny Payne and Coach Tommy Lloyd.

The last time Louisville and Arizona battled this close for a five-star small forward recruit was in 2017 when Brian Bowen II committed to the Cardinals over the Wildcats. Unfortunately the results of that recruiting battle were tumultuous for the Louisville program and for Bowen alike. But the likelihood of that happening again in this case is slim to none.

The Sage Hill High School product is one of the most sought-after players of the Class of 2024. His 6-foot-8 frame gives him the ability to spread the floor and create mismatches for the primary defender because of his length and size.

Bryant could become the second member of the Louisville 2024 Recruiting Class, joining four-star TJ Robinson who just committed a few days ago. With the recent IARP ruling, there is no impending fear for any recruits who desire to be in Louisville but were anticipating a postseason ban. The restoration and healing process can begin for the Cardinals and landing Bryant would be a huge statement for this program, for this coaching staff, and for this fanbase.

It is time for Louisville basketball to regain its dominance in the college basketball landscape.
