Tiyon Evans was recruited to Louisville by now-Cincinnati Running Backs Coach De’Rail Sims after just one season with the Volunteers. In just two collegiate seasons with different programs, Evans finished with a total of 1,050 yards, 12 rushing touchdowns, and one receiving touchdown. Ironically, his second season was almost an exact mirror of his freshman campaign.

In 2021, the Hartsville, South Carolina native recorded 525 rushing yards, six touchdowns, and an average of 6.5 yards per carry. In 2022, he recorded 525 rushing yards, six touchdowns, and an average of 6.3 yards per carry.

Despite his battle with injuries this past season, Evans is currently ranked at 41 overall in NFL running back prospects.
