William Fowles, a three-star recruit out of south Florida, originally committed to Louisville during the previous coaching staff’s tenure. But, Head Coach Jeff Brohm was quick to make an in-person visit to him and let him know that he could still be an asset to this team.

Coach Brohm had been on the job officially for seven days at that point and decided to use his time to secure William Fowles. That’s how important he thinks Fowles can be to this offense over the next few years.

Jahlil McClain joins fellow St. John Bosco teammates Pierce Clarkson and Aaron Williams in Louisville. All three of them are like William Fowles in the sense that Jeff Brohm convinced them to stay in Louisville despite the coaching change.

Jeff Brohm had some high praise for the wide receiver:

"“He has great hands, runs really good routes, and understands passing concepts. He also has really good chemistry with Pierce, so he will be a really good addition to our team. You always need guys that not only are going to make plays but are going to play a certain role, whatever that is, and I just think he’s another one that has played against really, really good competition.”"

Cardinal Authority’s Jody Demling thinks he may be the most underrated signing of the Class of 2023. He capped off his senior season with 20 receptions, 439 receiving yards, and five touchdowns.

Cataurus Hicks is a three-star prospect coming out of Miami Central High School. Hicks joins Fowles and McClain as former Satterfield recruits who stayed committed to Louisville. He also joins fellow teammate Stanquan Clark, a four-star linebacker recruit, who also committed to Louisville.

In his final season as a Rocket, the speedy 5-foot-9 receiver logged 24 receptions, 396 receiving yards, and four touchdowns. He could be another huge asset for Pierce Clarkson in the future.
