Louisville FB Recruiting: Underclassmen flock to Louisville

Head Coach Jeff Brohm hosts another massive recruiting weekend for Louisville football, but this time it is specifically for juniors and underclassmen. A few seniors will be mixed into the group, but the primary focus is on the underclassmen. There will be prospects from all over the country as well as a few hometown kids who have probably dreamt of playing for the University of Louisville since they were little.

Not only were Jeff Brohm and Brian Brohm top-tier athletes for local Trinity High School, but they also cemented their names into the Louisville football history books and paved a way for future generations to follow in their footsteps.

Shortly after Brian Brohm was officially announced as the Offensive Coordinator for Louisville, he could be found at Fern Creek High School building relationships with the local coaches and talent within the city limits.

Included in the list of local student-athletes who will be on-campus at Louisville this weekend are Central High School’s Cortez Stone, Class of 2025 running back, and St. Xavier’s Jaxon Panariello, a linebacker. There are a few St. X players already on the Louisville roster in recent signee and top player in the state of Kentucky, Micah Carter, as well as preferred walk-ons running back Grant Goodman and linebacker Hale Bohler.

Linebacker Jaxon Panariello is one of the few seniors who will be on-campus this weekend and he and Micah Carter have been teammates for the past few years, so having that kind of chemistry already would be something special for the Cardinals.
