Mallory Miller was recently on an official visit to the University of Louisville to see Head Coach Jeff Walz’s program first-hand.

A native of South Dakota, Mallory Miller is a 6-foot-4 forward/center prospect who recently announced via her Twitter account that she was on an official visit to the University of Louisville.

Judging from her repost of the announcement with a singular photo from her time here in Louisville, it leads people to believe her time on-campus was a positive one. The momentum that Jeff Walz is carrying for the Louisville program has not seemed to die down, and it doesn’t appear it will do so in the near future.

Louisville is slowly becoming a team that high profile women’s basketball prospects want to come to further their educations and basketball careers, and Mallory Miller could extend that streak. Currently, Louisville holds a commitment from Cincinnati, Ohio prospect Sole Williams and just recently received a commitment from Georgia Tech transfer Eylia Love.

And with Morgan Jones on pace to leave at the end of this season due to graduation, then a spot at the forward/center position will be open, which could be a great place for Mallory Miller to step in. As a senior in high school, she is currently leading the Wolsey-Wessington Warbirds of Wolsey, South Dakota to an 11-2 record with a mere six games left in the season.

Not only is she a weapon for Head Coach Josh McGillvrey’s team, but she also suits up for the Wolsey-Wessington volleyball team, so maybe Head Volleyball Coach Dani Busboom Kelly will have to study her tape as well.
