Ever since Kylan Fox was offered by the University of Louisville on April 21, 2022, the highly coveted tight end has been loosely associated with the Cardinals and could even potentially commit here.
He could potentially be joining four-star athlete, Jamari Johnson, who is coming in from the Class of 2023 in the tight end department. Johnson and Fox share very similar builds, but Johnson has a little bit more weight to him. Johnson stands at 6-foot-4, 270 pounds, while Fox stands on the border of 6-foot-4 and 6-foot-5 and weighs 208 pounds.
Under the old regime, it would not have been ideal for Fox to come here because Scott Satterfield’s offensive scheme did not highlight the tight end position. But now that Jeff Brohm is at the helm and he is known to spread the ball out all over the field, committing to Louisville could be very beneficial for him.
Not only does he have an offense to thrive in here, but he also has been recruited openly on social media by the No. 1 linebacker in the country, five-star prospect, and current Louisville commit TJ Capers to join him as a part of FlyVille24.
In what could potentially be Pierce Clarkson’s first year as a starter, Kylan Fox would be an incredible weapon to have on the offensive side of the ball. He would be joining Class of 2023 signees William Fowles, Cataurus Hicks, Jamari Johnson, and Jahlil McClain; along with transfer additions Kevin Coleman Jr. and Jimmy Calloway barring any more exits out of the wide receiver’s room.
So, there are a ton of advantages in coming to play here for Kylan Fox. And at this point, it seems like the Cardinals have a decent shot at landing him. He recently announced that he will be narrowing his college choices on February 12, 2023 at 4:00 PM.
Just a few days away from such an important announcement and as of now, on his Rivals profile, he still has the most FutureCasts to Louisville over any other school. On November 26, 2022, publisher for CardinalSports.com, Ty Spalding, cast his educated forecast for the Cardinals to land the ESPN 300 athlete.
Joining him in this endeavor are nine fans who cast their votes for Louisville, bringing the percentage up to a 47.6% chance he will be donning a Cardinals uniform in 2024.
