Louisville football Among the Finalists for Four-Star Tight End Kylan Fox
After receiving over 60 scholarship offers from college football programs all over the country, four-star tight end Kylan Fox has trimmed his list down to just 15 schools. The University of Louisville, currently ranked 24th in the 2024 college football recruiting team rankings on 247Sports, was included in Fox’s top 15.
Kylan Fox announced his top 15 list on Sunday, February 12 via Twitter.
247Sports has Kylan Fox ranked No. 87 overall in the class of 2024 and No. 16 in the state of Georgia.
The 6-foot-4, 208-pound prospect out of Grayson High School in Loganville, Georgia received an offer from the University of Louisville back in April 2022. Fox first visited the University of Louisville in June and returned in September to watch the Cardinals Week 3 home opener against Florida State.
The other 14 programs receiving consideration from him are Florida State, Colorado, Tennessee, Miami, South Carolina, North Carolina, Ole Miss, Alabama, Florida, Ohio State, Georgia Tech, Auburn, Stanford, and Cincinnati.
Kentucky, Georgia, Michigan, LSU, and Texas were among the schools that offered Fox but failed to make the cut.
The UofL Football class of 2023 ranks 35th overall and 5th in the ACC. The Cards fell down a bit in the rankings after the departure of Scott Satterfield, which ultimately led to the decommitments of key players such as five-star running back Rueben Owens and four-star wide receiver DeAndre Moore Jr.
However, new head coach Jeff Brohm and the Cards still have plenty of talent in the incoming freshman class. This includes dual-threat quarterback Pierce Clarkson, explosive edge rusher Adonijah Green, and physical defensive back Aaron Williams.
In fact, Louisville’s average prospect rating for the class of 2023 (89.05) is the highest in program history.
UofL currently has two commits for the class of 2024 in five-star linebacker TJ Capers and four-star running back Isaac Brown. TJ Capers, the highest-rated recruit in the history of the program, took to Twitter in late January to do his part in helping recruit Kylan Fox to the Cards.
Kylan Fox would certainly be an amazing addition to FlyVille24 and would be an exciting offensive weapon to pair with Pierce Clarkson and company.
