With Louisville’s basketball season ending early this year, all eyes have been fixed on the transfer portal and some late additions to the class of 2023, so let’s take a look at which players the Cards have shown interest in.

But before we get into who the Cards are interested in, we need to take a look at how the roster stands and where help is needed the most.

Here is how the roster currently stands:

  • G – Skyy Clark – Sophomore
  • G- Mike James- Sophomore
  • G- Hercy Miller – Walk-on – Junior
  • G – Koron Davis – Junior
  • F – JJ Traynor- Senior
  • F – Kaleb Glenn – Freshman
  • F – Curtis Williams Jr. – Freshman
  • F – Trentyn Flowers – Freshman
  • F/C – Emmanuel Okorafor – Sophomore
  • F/C – Brandon Huntley-Hatfield – Junior

The Cards have lost SIX players to the transfer portal, so far:

As the roster currently stands, Louisville has two or three open scholarships. This number depends on whether or not El Ellis decides to return and exercise his Covid year. So, who have the Cards shown interest in, as they look to fill out the last few open spots of their roster?
