Shaun Boykins Jr.

Shaun Boykins Jr. is a 6-foot-1, 190-pound prospect from Radcliff, Kentucky. He is currently a wide receiver for the North Hardin High School Trojans. Last season, the Trojans went 4-7, but not without a strong effort from Boykins. Over seven games played, he recorded 18 rush attempts for 154 yards and two touchdowns, while adding 33 receptions for 511 yards and eight touchdowns.

He led all receivers in receiving yards, receptions, and touchdowns. As of now, he is being heavily recruited by Vince Marrow at the University of Kentucky, but if there is anything we have learned about the arrival of Jeff Brohm: it’s that he is recruiting the state of Kentucky extremely hard.

On Monday night, Boykins announced that he was taking an unoffical visit to go see Jeff Brohm and the Louisville football program.

In February of this year, he received a Crystal Ball to Kentucky, but Jeff Brohm has gained increasing recruiting momentum since his arrival back to his alma mater in early December 2022. For example, the war between Vince Marrow and Jeff Brohm went down to the wire with New Albany defensive lineman Woo Spencer, and Jeff Brohm came out on top with a commitment from the 247Sports’ Composite three-star.

Now, the battle could be on between Louisville and Kentucky for the Class of 2024 wide receiver.
