I haven’t heard as much about the Patriots being a potential landing spot for Lamar, but maybe Bill Belichick is ready to get off the Mac Jones train and hop on the train of a guaranteed winner like Lamar Jackson.
The Patriots remind me a bit of the Ravens’ situation, though. A solid defensive team that lacks the weapons to help him reach his full potential on offense. Here’s Rob Ninkovic on why the Pats should trade for the former NFL MVP.

Sure, the Patriots have Rhamondre Stevenson, but, outside of that, their skill position players leave a lot to be desired. They did just sign JuJu Smith-Schuster, but I’m not sure he’s much better than the wide receivers Lamar has had in the past, like Rashod Bateman or Marquise “Hollywood” Brown.
They also added Mike Gesicki in the offseason, but he’s certainly a downgrade from throwing to Mark Andrews. I think it would be interesting to see Lamar being coached by Bill Belichick, but I’m not sure I have it in me to become a Patriots fan, so here’s to hoping this one doesn’t happen.
