Myles Stute – Forward – 6’7 – Vanderbilt

One of the few non-guards the staff has reached out to, Myles Stute seemed to fill a role missing from last year’s team. Someone who can play defense and hit threes.

Stute scored just under 10 PPG last season for the Commodores, and he’s a career 38% three-point shooter. Louisville was at the top of the list of schools interested when Stute entered his name into the portal.

But, just like the last few players highlighted, Stute is showing strong interest in other teams.

Stute certainly isn’t a make-or-break transfer for the staff, but I think he would’ve added an important skill-set to the squad. I’m guessing the staff is more focused on landing two guards and Abass right now, and Stute doesn’t fit that.
