Dayvion McKnight – Guard – 6’1 Western Kentucky University

What was once seen as a slam dunk transfer player, has now turned into a lock to go almost anywhere but Louisville.

When news broke of Dayvion McKnight leaving the Hilltoppers, most of Card Nation, including myself, assumed the Shelbyville native would come back close to home.

But, almost immediately, it seemed something was off. The staff was not one of the first schools to reach out to McKnight, and, now, McKnight is taking visits to everywhere but Louisville.

I was very excited to have McKnight possibly play at the Yum Center next year, but others were critical of his play. He isn’t the strongest shooter or defender, but he is someone who knows how to score. I’ll be sad to see him commit elsewhere.
