Keyshawn Hall – 6’7 – Guard – UNLV

The ‘Big Guard’ / ‘Point Forward’ continues to be mentioned by Louisville fans that are tantalized by his size and skill combination, and I can’t blame them.

The freshman averaged just 5.5 PPG & 1.6 RPG in 11 minutes of game action, but he shot 48% from the field and 50% from the three-point line (on 1.1 attempts per game). He struggled to find minutes last year, but he was impressive when he got them.

I’m going to sound like a broken record, but, unfortunately, Hall is taking visits elsewhere.

I don’t think this would be a huge miss for the staff. I’ve watched some games of his, and he is skilled, but he turns the ball over too often (nealry a 3:1 turnover to assist ratio). He’s too slow to play guard, and he’s not a strong defender.

With the staff needing more instant impact transfers, I’d be fine seeing Hall go elsewhere.
