One of two graduates from Louisville’s Ballard High School to make the top 10 list, Jerry Eaves was a key reserve on the University of Louisville’s 1980 National Championship team. He was selected to the All-Metro Conference First Team in 1981 and All-Metro Conference Second Team in 1982.

Over his junior and senior seasons at UofL, Jerry Eaves averaged 13.2 points and 3.3 assists per game while shooting above 50% from the field and helping the Cards reach the Final Four in the 1982 NCAA Tournament.

A two-time All-Missouri Valley Conference first-team selection and a 1972 consensus second-team All-American, Jim Price ranks sixth all-time in career points per game (17.1) for the Cards. He also ranks 21st in program history with 1,490 total points despite only playing three seasons of college ball.
