Kei’Trel Clark – Junior – CB – 5’10 – 177 Lbs. Draft Expectation: 3rd–5th Round

Kei’Trel Clark had an up-and-down career at Louisville, and his draft expectations are similar.

I’ve seen some mocks have Clark expected to be picked in the middle of the third round, but I’ve seen other mocks not having his name called until the sixth round. So, it’s a little difficult to know with much certainty where to expect Clark to get drafted.

Clark spent two of his three years at Louisville as an All-ACC second-teamer, but last year was a bit of a disappointment for him. However, a strong performance at the East-West Shrine Bowl practices shot Clark’s name back up the draft boards.

There is no doubt about his skill as a corner, but his less-than-ideal size and small frame are what will most likely keep him from being a Top-100 pick. NFL.com has him going the highest I’ve seen at pick #113 to the Atlanta Falcons, while ESPN has him going in the late 4th round, and CBS Sports has him going in the 5th round.

Personally, I think Kei’Trel Clark will fall somewhere in the middle and be drafted in the 4th round. He’s got incredible skill and solid athleticism, but his smaller frame means he’s most likely only going to be able to play as a nickel corner guarding primarily slot receivers.

Most likely landing spots:

  • Atlanta Falcons
  • Green Bay Packers
  • Chicago Bears
