Hunter Sallis – Guard – 6’5″ – Gonzaga

The addition of the former McDonald’s All-American would have been super nice, but this one has been trending away from the Cardinals for weeks. Louisville was included in the original ‘Sallis has received interest from’ post a few weeks ago, but that’s about it.

It seemed like Nebraska was the team to beat for Sallis’ services, but a late visit to Wake Forest changed that.

Now Louisville will get to see the man they missed out on at least twice next year.

I think Sallis will be great for the Demon Deacons. He’s got incredible size and athleticism. He just needed a team that gave him the ball more often than Gonzaga did last year. Personally, I am not looking forward to seeing him next year.
