More than a month ago, Louisville’s staff showed interest in Josh Uduje. Based on the list that was released, Louisville was far and away the most prestigious school on his list.

But after making the initial ‘have contacted’ tweet, there wasn’t much mutual interest between Louisville and Uduje. And on Wednesday, Uduje announced his transfer destination.

If the commitment to Utah State didn’t make it obvious, this isn’t a huge miss on Louisville’s part. Uduje would’ve been, at best, a role player off the bench. With two scholarships left, there are much better players available.
