Tylor Perry – Guard – 5’11 – University of North Texas
RIP to a short king (relative to basketball) that could’ve been a great Cardinal. About a month ago, Tylor Perry included Louisville in his final Top-8 schools.
Tylor Perry (@TimarPerry) tells me he’s trimmed his list of the schools he’s prioritizing in his recruitment, he is now prioritizing:

It was exciting to see Louisville make it in the top-8 for the 2023 C-USA Player of the Year, but it quickly became clear Louisville wasn’t a serious contender, as Perry took visits to many of the schools on this list not named Louisville.
In the end, I guess it didn’t even matter if Louisville was on his Top-8 list because Perry ended up committing to Kansas State.
NEWS: North Texas transfer Tylor Perry has committed to Kansas State, he tells @On3sports.

Could he be Markquis Nowell 2.0? I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, Tylor Perry would’ve been an incredible addition to the team and a great replacement for El Ellis’s 18 PPG. But Louisville already has a point guard, and Perry is a little height challenged for Kenny Payne’s preferences. Not to mention he would have most likely come off the bench as Skyy Clark is set to be PG1.
