Vincent Lumia – OL – Duquense- 3-Star Transfer

Coming into the season, Louisville’s offensive line was thin and young, but additions like Vincent Lumia have completely changed that.

Lumia has been starting at right tackle for Duquense since 2020 and was voted ALL-NEC First or Second team twice, giving up just two sacks in his three years as a starter.

I know the level of competition may be lower, but that’s still insane.

Lumia had offers from WKU, Western Michigan, and UNLV, but chose to come to the Cardinals instead.

Lumia is a little on the small side to be an offensive tackle in the ACC  (6’3 290), so I’m unsure what they’ll do. His size lends itself to playing more on the interior of the line, but he’s dominated as a tackle for the last three years.

Just based on the smaller stature (compared to the other offensive lineman) and the lack of play at the Power-5 level, I would expect Lumia to begin the season as a backup tackle/guard, and that’s incredible to say considering the success and experience he brings to the table.
