Trevonte Sylvester – OL – Houston- 3-Star Transfer

Just a few days after Robinson committed to the Cards, Brohm landed another former Cougar offensive lineman.

Trevonte Sylvester comes to Louisville with much less playing experience but an extra year to grow and learn the system

Sylvester will be a redshirt sophomore next season and figures to play as a depth lineman in his first season with the Cards.

Sylvester appeared in 12 games last season for the Cougars, but a majority of that came on special teams.

Sylvester saw 42 snaps at left tackle last season and allowed no sacks or QB hits, so his playing time was limited, but he was successful in his attempts.

With three years to play for the Cards, Sylvester has some experience playing against high-level competition and has a great frame to work with (6’5 285 lbs.)

Barring injury, I wouldn’t expect much out of Sylvester this season, but he should eventually find his way into the starting lineup by 2024-2025.
