Harrison Bailey – QB – Tennesee / UNLV – 3-Star Transfer

Another former high school stud is joining the Cards as a depth piece. Harrison Bailey was the cream of the crop in 2020, rated as a 5-star recruit according to Rivals.

But, two years of limited playing time at Tennessee saw Bailey enter the transfer portal.

Bailey decided to head west and join the UNLV Rebels. With the pedigree that he had in high school, the expectations were high for Bailey to make an immediate impact with UNLV in the Mountain West Conference, but, again, he saw little playing time.

Bailey threw just 58 passes for 318 yards, 2 TDs & 1 INT in his limited time on the field with UNLV.

So after three years of limited opportunity, Bailey has turned to Jeff Brohm to hopefully help him fulfill the immense potential he has.

Bailey comes to the Cards as a preferred walk-on, so I’m not sure the expectations are too high.

But, I can’t fault Brohm for taking a chance on Bailey, especially since it didn’t cost the Cards a scholarship.

I believe Bailey still has two years of eligibility, so he figures to have a shot at being named the starting QB in 2024, where we’ll assumedly see a battle between Bailey, Brady Allen, and Pierce Clarkson.

Brohm is stacking depth and talent at the QB position, and I am absolutely a fan of it.
