Louisville’s 3 Keys to beating Pitt’s Offense
By Caleb Hall
The Louisville Cardinals will face the Pitt Panthers this saturday night and even though the the Cardinals are 6-0, this is a big trap game for Louisville.
Louisville will travel to Pittsburgh to take on the Panthers in Heinz Field and the Cardinals are looking to go 7-0 for the first time since 2012. Pitt has lost 4 in a row after winning their first game and now sit at a lowly 1-4. Jeff Brohm was known for beating good top ten teams at his tenure at Purdue. However, he was also known to drop a game or two to teams that he shouldn’t have lost to. However, this is a different Jeff Brohm and things can be different.
The Pitt offense has been bad to say the least this year, and if Louisville comes in thinking they won’t have to try hard to beat this Pitt team on defense, then they might slip up. Pitt has also made a quarterback change after last weeks lost to North Carolina (41-24). Jeff Brohm won’t have a lot of film to look over, which is never a good thing if you’re a head coach.
Pitt has seems to always be physical and the Panthers will muddy up this game on offense and defense to win against the top 15 Cardinals. Not to mention Pitt always seems to give Louisville a good run for their money whenever they play. Pat Narduzzi is a good coach whether his teams are or not. He will give Louisville everything he can this saturday and the Cardinals need to be prepared.
Here are 3 keys to how Louisville can beat the Pitt Panthers offense this saturday night.
