Louisville football gets another 3:30 kickoff against ACC foe Virginia Tech
The Louisville Cardinals will kickoff against the Virginia Tech Hokies next week at 3:30, and it should be an interesting matchup for both teams. Louisville will start a 3 game homestand this weekend against Duke when they kickoff at 3:30. Then they will take on Virginia Tech at 3:30 and take on the Virginia Cavaliers at 7:30 the following thursday night.
The game will be televised on the ACC Network on November 4th, as it marks the 3rd game they will play this season after playing Boston College and Duke this weekend at 3:30.
The last time both of these teams played was in the 2020 season where the Cardinals lost to the Hokies 42-35 in a very high scoring game. Virginia Tech leads the all time series between the Cardinals 6-2 and besides last years conference matchup, the last time they met was in the 2005 Gator Bowl where the Hokies won 35-24.
The Hokies currently stand at 3-4 (2-1), and while they started the year 1-3, they have won 2 of their last 3 games and even gave Florida State a run for their money in the first half of that game. The Hokies aren’t really playing inspiring football, but they are playing much better then they were at the start of the football season.
Other ACC game times that were announced for week 10 are as followed:
Saturday, November 4th
– Campbell at North Carolina, 12:00 PM on the ACC Network
– Georgia Tech at Virginia, 2:00 PM on the CW Network
