Around CFB: Games To Watch As A Louisville Fan
By Caleb Hall
Evening Slate CFB games to keep an eye on:
#8 Oregon at #13 Utah:
This is the college football game of the week and it will likely be one of the better games of the day. This game has playoff and PAC-12 implications for the winner, and if you’re looking for the best game during the 3:30 PM slate, this is the one to watch.
Virginia at Miami:
Virginia is coming off a huge win over previously ranked #10 North Carolina, and Miami had a bounce back win over Clemson in double OT. Both teams are looking to build momentum and it will be interesting to see who comes out on top. Before last week I would say Miami wins big, but last weeks performance by Virginia has me skeptical. Check out the score for this one if you like keeping up with ACC scores.
#1 Georgia at Florida:
Georgia is a back to back national champion, and they are showing their first signs of struggle against unranked teams in the last 2 years. They struggled against South Carolina, Auburn, and didn’t even cover the spread against Vanderbilt. Florida is also the most 50/50 team in the SEC. With the game being in the swamp it is a game to look out for.
Pittsburgh at #14 Notre Dame:
Pitt lost in a close game to Wake last week and it will be interesting to see how they fare against a talented Notre Dame team. The fighting irish are coming off a blowout win over USC and will need to not have a hangover game against the Panthers. Check this game out if you want to see the Cardinals biggest win and worst loss face off against each other.
