Louisville will take on Virginia Tech in a huge ACC game, here’s our final predictions from the team at the Big Red Louie:

The Louisville Cardinals have a monumental matchup against the Virginia Tech Hokies, and the ACC championship hangs in the balance of it all. The Cardinals will host the Virginia Tech Hokies at L&N Stadium at 3:30 on the ACC Network, and everyone will be on the lookout to see how Virginia can handle a good ranked team on the road. Especially after beating Syracuse by 28 at home last Thursday night.

The Hokies have won 3 of their last 4 and they have blown out those teams by at least 17 in every game. The only outlier is their game against FSU, where they lost by 22. Tech also started the season quite bad at 1-3, with loses to Purdue, Rutgers, and Marshall. Tech has also played very good at home, and not very good on the road. It will be interesting to see how they compete on the road in a hostile Cardinal environment.

Louisville on the other hand is looking to cement their arrival in the world of college football. If they win this game they will have sole possession of 2nd place in the ACC, and have even better chances of making the ACC championship and possibly even a college football playoff.

The Cardinals may have the injury bug this week as some players are questionable including Jawhar Jordan and Jamari Thrash. But with Jeff Brohm’s gameplanning ability they should be prepared.

Here are our predictions at the Big Red Louie for the huge ACC matchup ahead of today’s game:
