Caleb Hall’s Final Prediction:

Louisville has been dominant in the past 2 weeks and I don’t see Virginia being able to slow down the Cardinals, especially on a Thursday night inside L&N Stadium. Louisville may have some key offensive players out for the game, but even if guys like Jawhar Jordan and Jamari Thrash are out, I still trust Brohm with this offense. I also see players like Chris Bell and Isaac Guerendo stepping up again, just like they did last week against Virginia Tech.

Virginia has been in several 1 possession games this year but they seem to have lost all of them, except what seems to be a fluke game against North Carolina. With Louisville’s defense and offensive firepower, it is hard to see a world where this game is very competitive.

Jeff Brohm will have his team ready to play come tonight, and the Cavaliers will need to do everything in their power to not get blown out by a soon to be top ten team.

Jack Plummer should look to manage the game, while the running game should also be very prominent. No matter who the running back is for Louisville they will look to keep the ball on the ground, no matter if its Jordan or Guerendo, the Cards will likely dominate.

Virginia struggles on every end of the ball, especially running the ball and stopping the run. Luckily for the Cardinals, that is their exact strengths. The Louisville defense should dominate the Virginia front 5, and the running game should also lead Louisville to a big victory at home.

Final Prediction:

Louisville 34, Virginia 10
