2. Christopher Washington Jr.

Christopher Washington Jr. is ranked as high as a 5-star prospect, No. 23 in the nation, and the tenth-best small forward in the 2026 cycle. The Cardinals made their offer to the 5-star small forward in January 2025.

Louisville is all-in on the nation's No. 1 overall recruit, Tyran Stokes, as the Cardinals are putting all their marbles in Stokes' basket to try and earn the commitment from the Louisville native. While Kelsey and the Cardinals are building a relationship with Washington, it will be hard to earn Stokes and Washington's commitment.

Alabama appears to be the heavy favorite to land Washington's commitment, as they have recently earned another key visit. Florida State has also earned an unofficial visit, making these two programs the early favorites for the 5-star recruit.

On3 Sports gives Alabama a dominant 49.6 percent chance of earning his commitment. With Louisville all-in on Stokes, who is the No. 1 small forward in the 2026 cycle, it is clear they might fall behind other programs for Washington.
