1. Jason Crowe Jr.
Jason Crowe Jr. is one of the top recruits in the 2026 cycle as the consensus 5-star recruit is ranked as high as No. 5 in the nation and the second-best combo guard. The Cardinals are all-in right now on Deron Rippey Jr. and Tay Kinney and recently just made 5-star point guard Ikenna Alozie's top eight.
Louisville wants to be considered as one of Crowe's top choices, but Kentucky, Texas, USC, Alabama, and Baylor are the five frontrunners at this point. On3 Sports gives USC a 53 percent chance of landing Crowe's commitment.
With Kinney being the No. 1 point guard in the class and Joe Tipton just reporting he is giving Louisville the edge over Kentucky to land Kinney's commitment, it wouldn't be surprising if the Cardinals fall behind USC and Kentucky for Crowe.
Louisville made their offer to the 5-star guard back in May 2023, and now Crowe has over 23 offers. For all the latest on Louisville basketball's offseason and recruiting, stay tuned.
