3. Jacob Brooks
Starting in the secondary, one of the Cardinals' biggest areas of need is the safety position. Louisville got some good news as Blake Ruffin announced he will return, giving them much-needed depth, but if Louisville wants to make a huge splash to play with Iowa transfer Koen Entringer, LSU transfer Jacob Bradford emerges as a dream target.
The LSU transfer was a former consensus 4-star recruit out of high school, as he ranked No. 175 in the 2025 recruiting class and the No. 16 safety. He played in five games for the Tigers during his true freshman season and has tons potential as he enters the Transfer Portal. With the Cardinals needing some depth at the safety position, adding a player like Bradford to play with Entringer and Dylan Rowsey would immediately give this safety room a lot potential.
Bradford has incredible instincts for the game, playing quickly and physically, making him one of the best safeties in the portal. The 5-foot-11, 195-pound safety ranks as the second-best safety available, No. 427 overall, and No. 38 among safeties.
