2. Aaron Scott Jr.
The Cardinals will likely add to their secondary before spring practice begins, including the cornerback position. Louisville has seven scholarship players on the roster right now, including Kentucky transfer DJ Waller and Texas transfer Santana Wilson. With Louisville fans dreaming of a complete lockdown cornerback in its secondary, former 5-star recruit Aaron Scott Jr. emerges as a prime dream target.
The Ohio State transfer was ranked as a 5-star recruit in the 2024 recruiting class and ranked as high as No. 26 in the nation and No. 2 among cornerbacks. The elite cornerback has ball-hawk attributes, thanks to his size and length, which helped him earn 5 interceptions and 7 pass breakups in his junior season. He earned a career-high 9 tackles this past season for the Buckeyes, but, looking to make a jump and be a starter, Scott entered the portal.
He now ranks as the second best cornerback available, as the 3-star transfer ranks No. 284 overall and No. 19 among cornerbacks. Already in contact with Brooks is Tennessee, as he will visit the Volunteers this Friday. Scott is a long shot of a target, but would be a massive splash to this secondary.
