2. Center

The Cardinals still have to address the center position despite landing the Kentucky transfer, Evan Wibberley. The Cardinals have had a way better offseason with their offensive line than many would have predicted, as the Cardinals added former Power Four starters in Eryx Daugherty and Cason Henry, while also being able to keep Lance Robinson.

Louisville also added Delaware transfer Anwar O'Neal and Georgia Southern transfer Johnnie Brown III, but none of the Cards' four additions are a center. So, Louisville adding Wibberley was much-needed to get depth at the center position, but Louisville needs to get one more center who has the potential to start, just in case of an injury or if Wibberley underperforms.

In 2024, he was one of the top-ranked centers at the FBS level, logging 939 blocking snaps while allowing zero sacks and just 10 total pressures. He transferred to Kentucky, expecting to start for the Wildcats, but the Wildcats started Jager Burton instead. His 2024 resume certainly makes it seem like he can start and be the Cardinals' guy next season, but if he couldn’t win the job over Burton, it is worth investigating another center for depth.
