2. Deuce Adams
Louisville football saw three quarterbacks enter the Transfer Portal this offseason, including backup quarterback Deuce Adams. After being QB2 for the majority of the 2025 season, some fans were excited for Adams and his future with Louisville. However, Brohm went to the Portal for the fourth straight season, and Adams hit the portal and later committed to Wisconsin.
What stings is that the Wisconsin Badgers brought in Old Dominion transfer Colton Joseph, who will be their starter for multiple years, putting Adams at QB2 for the next two seasons. Louisville fans certainly would have loved Adams to stay a Cardinal and play behind Ohio State transfer Lincoln Kienholz, as the former Cardinal has a strong arm and is a dual-threat quarterback.
Now, it didn’t shock many that he entered the Transfer Portal, but it was a bit shocking to see him commit to a program that brought in a sophomore quarterback. Adams is a former 3-star commitment in the 2024 class, and during his time with Louisville, he played in just a handful of games, taking all his passing attempts last season. Adams went 15-of-21 for 112 yards while adding 14 rushes for 33 yards in 2025.
