North Carolina Tar Heels

When Louisville fans looked at the Cardinals' ACC Tournament path, they thought it was favorable for a couple of reasons, one of which was avoiding the North Carolina Tar Heels. Despite UNC losing Caleb Wilson for the rest of the season, this Tar Heels team has shown it is still dangerous.

UNC has already beaten Louisville without Wilson, as North Carolina won 77-74 in late February and was up by as much as 16. But the Tar Heels are also 4-2 in their six games without Wilson, with wins over teams making a postseason push in Louisville, Clemson, and Virginia Tech. The Cardinals and Tar Heels wouldn’t meet until the ACC Championship game, and if anyone was to beat Duke early on, UNC would have the best chance.

UNC is the No. 4 seed in the ACC Tournament and has a challenging path to the championship, as they will likely face Clemson in the quarterfinals, and if they win that, then Duke in the semifinals, but FanDuel has the Tar Heels with the fourth-highest odds to win the ACC Tournament Title at +2000.
