Louisville football is sitting pretty with a 6-1 record going into Week 10 of the college football season. After coming off a scary close win against Boston College last week, the Cardinals found their run game, and star running back Isaac Brown got to showcase his talents, rushing for 205 yards and a touchdown.
The classic spooky game against BC is over, and the Cardinals look to prepare to face off against Virginia Tech. The Hokies are in the middle of the pack in the ACC and have an overall record of 3-5. At this point in the season, Louisville cannot take any team lightly and will have to lock in to reach the conference championship game.
They have faced a tough conference schedule with Pitt, Virginia, and Miami, but outside of SMU and possibly Clemson, they have a relatively easy end-of-season slate. The ACC title game is still in play for the Cards, but they will need to take care of business and win out. That is no easy task by any means, and it is crucial to go one game at a time.
So, that said, here are three bold predictions for Louisville vs. Virginia Tech.
