Keyjaun Brown’s breakout continues

Keyjaun Brown has had to step up for an injured Duke Watson and did a great job last week. Brown split carries with Isaac Brown and had the best game of his collegiate career, rushing for 95 yards and a touchdown, including a 67-yard run.

This season marks Brown's third with the Cardinals, but he has not had a significant role on the team until this year. With the Watson injury, he is as essential to this program as ever, and last week he really stepped up and proved yet again he can be a star in this backfield. Brown rushed for a total of 243 yards and three touchdowns last season, and he is already up to 227 yards and four touchdowns this season, with five games to go.

With Watson dealing with injuries for the majority of the season, his game status this week is up in the air. If he is unavailable to suit up, look for Brown to have another explosive game and find the endzone on a breakout run. The bold prediction is that Brown will rush for over 70 yards and will have a rushing touchdown for the second straight week.
