Louisville football fans knew this was going to be a long shot, but the Cardinals fans kept a close eye on it anyway. Former 5-star recruit Mylan Graham was reportedly in contact with Louisville early on after he entered the Transfer Portal, but it was officially announced yesterday that the Ohio State transfer committed to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
The Cardinals fans were dreaming of pairing Graham with Lincoln Kienholz at Louisville under Jeff Brohm. The two Ohio State transfers have likely built chemistry together through the years, as both were backups at Ohio State. Kienholz committed to Louisville early on this offseason and is set to be QB1 for Brohm, and adding a player like Graham to this explosive offense would have been a dream come true for Louisville fans.
Graham ranked No. 33 in the 2024 recruiting class and was a 5-star recruit. He ranked as high as No. 7 among wide receivers in that class and was the top-ranked Indiana prospect after earning 48 catches for 1,149 yards and 13 touchdowns his junior season. In the Transfer Portal, he ranked No. 105, No. 117 overall, and No. 24 wide receiver.
