Louisville football went on to have a productive recruiting weekend as Jeff Brohm and Vince Marrow added two commitments to its 2027 recruiting class. The Cardinals landed 3-star ATH Josiah Pouncy and defensive lineman Cornelius Tims III on Saturday, bringing Louisville’s total to seven.

Brohm and Marrow’s seven commitments have them ranked No. 11 in the nation as Louisville has four 4-star commitments and two 3-star commitments. Louisville hasn’t had a single top 15 recruiting class in the last 15 years, and Brohm and Marrow are trying to break that streak.

The Cardinals are in the running for multiple players as this recruiting team continues to target Ohio, Kentucky, Florida, and other states. So, after the Cardinals' latest two splashes this past weekend, here are three more targets who could commit to Louisville.

Cam Wade

A wide receiver many Louisville fans are keeping an eye on is the elite playmaker, Cam Wade. The Kentucky native is ranked as high as a 4-star recruit and No. 220 overall in the 2027 recruiting class and No. 5 among in-state recruits.

Wade from Paducah, Kentucky, attends Paducah Tilghman, where he has emerged as a superstar. Ranking No. 30 among wide receivers in the 2027 recruiting class, Wade has collected over 21 offers from big-time programs like Penn State, Florida State, Tennessee, and 2026 National Champions Indiana.

Wade recently cut his list down to six schools as the Cardinals are in a recruiting battle with Tennessee, LSU, Maryland, South Carolina, and North Carolina. The 5-foot-11, 160-pound receiver earned 53 catches for 821 yards and 14 touchdowns this past season. Louisville earned an unofficial visit earlier in the year and hopes to be trending in the right direction as the fans wait for a decision.
