Lual Aleu

The Cardinals have already landed two Ohio natives' commitments in Chuck Alexander and  D'Angelo White, and one more Ohio recruit the Cardinals fans should keep an eye on is Lual Aleu. The 3-star offensive lineman is trending in the right direction with Louisville, as On3 Sports currently gives the Cardinals the best chance to land him at 29.9 percent.

The 6-foot-5, 300-pound offensive tackle ranks as high as No. 504 in the 2027 recruiting class and No. 40 among interior offensive linemen, and No. 19 among recruits out of Ohio. The Cardinals are the frontrunners as of now, but big-time programs are targeting Aleu, including Florida, Nebraska, Virginia Tech, and many other Power Four programs that have extended offers.

The 3-star offensive lineman has already logged unofficial visits with Kentucky, Purdue, and Pitt. The Cardinals extended an offer back in September 2025, but with On3 Sports high on Louisville’s chances, the Cardinals fans should keep an eye on Aleu for a visit.
