Louisville football landed a historic commitment yesterday as Vince Marrow and Jeff Brohm landed 4-star cornerback and Louisville native, Allen Evans. The newest Cardinals commitment is the highest-rated for Louisville since 2013 and the sixth-highest-rated in program history.

Evans is a lockdown cornerback who ranks No. 6 among cornerbacks and as high as No. 39 in the 2027 recruiting class. Allen is ranked as the No. 1 recruit out of Kentucky after his massive season with Trinity High School. The 4-star corner went on to give up just 93 receiving yards and zero touchdowns on 658 snaps, and was targeted just 57 times. Evans went on to earn 28 tackles and two interceptions.

Hailing from Kentucky, the standout cornerback chose Louisville over powerhouse programs Alabama, Vanderbilt, Tennessee, and Penn State. So, after the Cardinals earned this historic commitment with Evans, Louisville fans are now trying to see who could follow him to Jeff Brohm and the Louisville Cardinals.
