Someone Louisville fans have been following for a long time now is the 4-star wide receiver and Paducah native, Cam Wade. The elite wide receiver has been heavily recruited by the Cardinals, as he was at the season-opener against Eastern Kentucky, and has reportedly taken multiple unofficial visits to Louisville.

Wade has been a dominant wide receiver and defensive player for Paducah Tilghman High School for many years, as he is coming off a massive season. The Louisville target caught 53 passes for 821 receiving yards and added 14 receiving touchdowns, while on defense, he recorded 15 tackles, including three tackles for loss, two interceptions returned for touchdowns, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery.

Louisville is now in its final six, going up against LSU, South Carolina, Tennessee, Maryland, and North Carolina. On3 Sports gives Louisville the highest chance of earning the 4-star commitment at 31 percent. The 5-foot-11 165 pound receiver is ranked as high as No. 220 overall, the No. 29-ranked wide receiver, and the fifth-best recruit out of Kentucky in the 2027 recruiting class.
