2. Kwame Evans Jr.

The Cardinals need to attack their frontcourt big this offseason, as there is no debate that it was their biggest weakness last season. With it early in the portal, one name that immediately stands out is the Oregon transfer Kwame Evans Jr.

The former 5-star power forward has tons of upside and potential and can be a big-time get for Louisville this offseason as he ranks as a 4-star transfer, No. 2 in the portal as of today, and No. 1 among power forwards. He committed to Oregon, ranked No. 15 in the 2023 recruiting class, No. 4 among power forwards, and the top recruit out of Florida.

He has played three seasons with the Ducks and is coming off his best year, starting in all 30 games and averaging 13.3 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.3 blocks, and 1.0 steals while shooting 45.4 percent from the field and 30.4 percent from downtown. The 6-foot-10, 230-pound junior is an elite two-way forward who would bring experience, toughness, and physical defense to the Cardinals while also being a top scorer on offense.
