Malachi Brown
Louisville football continues to make a big push for one of the top recruits in the state, Malachi Brown. The Cardinals have already earned a visit from Brown back in November, and Jeff Brohm and Vince Marrow took a visit to the 4-star earlier this year.
Brown is ranked as the No. 4 recruit out of Kentucky and is the second-best uncommitted 2027 Kentucky native, according to 247Sports rankings. The 4-star defensive lineman has earned over 18 offers, including from Miami, Ohio State, Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, and many others.
However, many are seeing this as another in-state recruiting battle, with On3 Sports listing Kentucky as the slight favorites at 23 percent to earn Brown’s commitment, and Louisville at 20 percent. The 6-foot-4, 265-pound 4-star is ranked as high as No. 269 in the 2027 class and No. 30 among defensive linemen. Brown is reportedly on campus this afternoon for a practice visit.
