Not only have the Cardinals lost Rooth, Fru, and Camara to the portal, but they have also lost J’Vonne Hadley due to eligibility. A player who would fit perfectly with the Cardinals and someone they need is the Robert Morris transfer, DeSean Goode.
The 4-star transfer plays physically in the paint and has the ability to back his defenders down and post up at 6-foot-8, 230 pounds. Louisville needs someone who can do it on both ends of the floor, and with his size and physicality, he emerges as one of the top fits for Kelsey and Louisville.
He slashes in the paint and can shoot mid-range and hit floaters. He plays very similarly to Hadley, and with the Cards not having a power forward at the moment, he could be a perfect fit. Last season, he averaged 15.2 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game while shooting 57 percent from 3-point range. Goode ranks as the No. 41 overall transfer in the portal and No. 10 among power forwards.
