Louisville basketball recently learned that it will earn a visit from one of its top targets, 5-star small forward Jaxon Richardson. The elite small forward is ranked as high as No. 11 in the nation and the fourth-best player in his position. Ikenna Alozie
A player that is flying under the Cardinals fans' radar is 5-star guard Ikenna Alozie. The combo guard is one of the best recruits in the 2026 class as he ranks as high as No. 14 in the nation and is one of the best point guards in the class.
Louisville made Alozie's final eight schools not too long ago, and is now in a crucial recruiting battle for his commitment against Alabama, Gonzaga, Kansas, Houston, Kentucky, and others. However, just late in August, Alozie announced he will visit Alabama, Kansas, and Houston, making it appear he is getting ready to visit his top schools.
Alozie will visit Alabama in September, Kansas in early October, and Houston in late October. The Cardinals have a big-time battle against Kansas on October 24, and it could be a game Alozie wants to see.
