Gabe Nesmith is an elite wing who Louisville has already earned a visit from. The 5-star recruit ranks as high as No. 12 in the nation by ESPN, where he is ranked as the No. 2 shooting guard in the class. 247Sports and On3 Sports rank him as the No. 13 recruit in the nation and the No. 5 small forward in the class.
The 6-foot-5 180 180-pound wing recently visited Louisville for their exhibition game against the Kansas Jayhawks. The 5-star wing will play his junior season for Overtime Elite after playing for Montverde Academy his freshman season and Prolific Prep last year. It will be a challenge to earn Nesmith's commitment, as he has already received offers from Arizona State, Washington, Rutgers, and USC, and has also visited Georgia and Tennessee.
However, with Wright transferring to La Lumiere School, a well-known high school, don't be surprised if he rises in these rankings, and Nesmith and others take notice. Louisville will push hard for Nesmith after earning an unofficial visit, and their loyalty and addition of Wright can draw the 5-star to Louisville.
